Having worked for Esselte for the past 15 years, Dan has achieved successive career progression in increasing roles of responsibility for leadership efforts having been appointed as Director of IT over all North America divisions of Esselte. Starting in 2004, Dan was appointed as Director, IT Business Support then IT Director, Systems Development & Business Support, North America. Dan is responsible for all IT functions including data center management, vendor relationships, technical support, application development, business intelligence, supply chain and logistics systems within the North American organization.

He is directly responsible for improving business processes and critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business applications systems and Infrastructure. Dan has served as an IT Professional for over sixteen years.

He began his career at Systems Connections Inc, a computer cabling and accessories manufacturer, where he worked initially as an IT manager responsible for computer systems and servers. He later became the IT Manager for Curtis Computer Products Inc, a division of Esselte Corporation and become an IT Global Communications Manager for Esselte Corporation worldwide in 2001.

In 1990-92, Dan spent two years in Japan serving in a Church Service Mission. He currently lives in the St. Louis area with his wife and 3 children.

Along with several technical certifications, Dan holds an Associates Degree in arts and science with additional coursework through Brigham Young University in Engineering and International Business.
