Read What Pilers Are Saying About PileSmart!
The good folks at Pendaflex, manufacturer of filing supplies, surveyed
office workers to see what their filing style said about their
personalities. I was expecting the results to pile on the guilt I
often feel when gazing at my stack-laden desk. But to my delight, I
learned that I'm in good company.
The survey classified respondents as Pilers, Filers, and Tossers. It turns out nearly half of us are Pilers. But far from sneering at us, as I'd suspect, here's what the survey says: "Pilers are 'big picture' people, who don't let themselves get lost in the details." Furthermore, "they are intellectuals, holding the most master's and doctoral degrees."
I don't like to shill for companies other than my own, but my hat is off
to Pendaflex. Now that they know which way the wind blows, file-wise,
they're embracing reality. They're not going to waste energy trying to
convert us pilers into filers. Instead, they're introducing "PileSmart"
a new product line for the vast untapped market of unregenerate office

I've recently purchased the Pendaflex 51050 (PileSmart Project Sorter) and the 51060 (PileSmart View Folder). I am in love with these items! They have solved my piles of active papers on my desk. I've bought the same set for my home. I am so impressed with the organization and quality of these items. Hooray!

I use them to orgazine my "To-Do" Items and also to quickly put like items together so I always have everything I need for the particular project together.

At home I use the label clip to seperate coupons into approprite catgories. In the office I use them to separate certain accounting projects for one customer at a time.
A Financial Analyst
As a teacher, I have used one to clip my students report cards together. I love how the color stands out among other things on my desk so that makes it easy to find. I also plan to use others to clip work together, by subject, that needs to be left for a substitute teacher, but I haven't used them for this, yet.
