Pendaflex Expanding File with Sliding Cover

Congratulations Babs, Snicks and Lanniekat!  You've been randomly chosen to receive the Pendaflex Expanding File with Sliding Cover!  You've been notified by email where to send your mailing address so we can expedite your prizes.  Congratulations!

How can an Expanding File With Sliding Cover help you get and stay organized? If you've used expanding files, you know that the cover can flop over, preventing access to your files.  This Pendaflex expanding file has a unique cover that slides away to allow easy access to your files. There are 13 pockets for identifying the contents of your files, and an expanding bottom for additional storage space that also allows the file to stand up on your desk.  The stylish button and elastic hardware secure your documents on the go.

We're giving away three Expanding Files with Sliding Cover!  Simply leave us a comment on your experience with using a professional organizer or if you are considering using a professional organizer. Post the comment here, on the "Organizing By Deputizing" blog post, or on our Beyond Folders Facebook page.

We'll randomly draw 3 winners to receive a Pendaflex Expanding File With Sliding Cover. Winners will be announced here on August 6, 2010

I didn't even know there were people who were professional organizers! I would love to use someone (depending on cost) since I live in a small condo and have a limited area for storage. I need some creative ideas. My living room only has two  solid walls a third is my sliding glass door & window and the other wall should be it is open looking out on the dining/kitchen area. One of the Pendaflex expanding files would be a great way to keep track of papers for a year at a time!

Have been to a couple of seminars by professional organizers and thoroughly enjoyed them.  Not sure I would want some one to come into my home but who knows?!

I've never used a professional organizer but have been told I should be one. I love helping people make order out of chaos, mostly with their household files. The joy in their faces when they can find something within a few seconds, is like watching a kid that just learned how to ride a bike.

I enjoy listening to PO's share their experiences. both good and bad. Its amazing what some of them have tackled successfully...I am in awe!

I have never used a Professional organizer as all my friends and relatives think of me as the Queen of Organization.  I have seemed to have gotten them all organized and not really done the same for myself.  I have gotten many of them their own expanding files in their favorite color, set up their filing cabinet and even helped them put a quick system together for the piles we usually keep on our desk.  Of course, I have never even thought of charging for this....  But I never seemed to have time for the person that I should be taking care of FIRST!!!  After a short stay in the hospital a few weeks ago, my husband took off a week to take care of me and he said that my first projuct for the next few weeks was to put myself first and he was doing to spend some time helping me.  So the first task I chose was to clean up my piles and redo my filing cabinet which holds the Ranch files, my husband's personal and work files, current files for the 2 elderly relatives that I take care of as well as my files that consist of my personal projects as well as the files I have for my volunteer projects - Preserving area Cemeteries, Farms, Ranches and Editor of the County Genealogy Soc. Journal.  The hanging files were in there with no tabs or folders with things sorted to find easier.  I just knew where each folder was but no one else could find them.  Hopefully by the end of next week, I will have everything tabbed, color-coded and a tickler file made for all five drawers and I can then work on translating some German obituaries and doing some other "Fun" stuff.  I would love to win one of the expanding files in a blue color - everyone knows that is my color and use it to keep track of my weekly projects as well as take it with me to meetings and when I do research at the local Archives.  I will keep my fingers crossed!!!!!!

I've used expanding organizers for years and yes, the cover flopping over is a huge irritant.  Having a cover that slides out of the way would be a big plus for me.  During audits I pack all my town clerk files in these and drop them off at the auditors.  Neat, quick, simple, and easy.  At the school where I work we use them to organize many, many files and they are great.  I will definitely look into purchasing these with the sliding cover.  Great idea!!  Any chance you could add a carrying handle????

Oops!  Forgot to mention that I have never hired a personal organizer.  I'm very organized at work but I would absolutely love to have a personal organizer help me get a handle on it at home.  I wonder why I am so good at it at work but really slack off when I get home?

I can really put this expanding file with sliding cover to good use with my new online business.  I create homemade handbags, purses, wallets, embroidered towels, homemade greeting cards, etc. and need to organize all my invoices and receipts.  By being organized I can have one central file where I can easily locate customer data, receipts for supplies and the amount of profit I have made for the year.  I would love really love to own this expanding file! Thank you for your consideration.  Have a fabulous day!

I've never used a Professional organizer, I have thought about it but I don't know if I would like someone else looking at my personal stuff. I do a pretty good job of filing stuff properly on my own, but there is always room for improvement. I love the sliding top on this organizer, I have ones in the past where the lid keeps flipping back on me and it's frustrating. Thanks for the opportunity to try this one.
